Back to the train...Get to know the blogger - that's me!

3 sentences about me: My name is Ginger Gelsheimer and I write The Dark Days series, a loosely-based prequel to the Hunger Games, with my daughter Taylor. I also co-write the Aurora Conspiracy franchise with my writing partner and one of my all time best friends, Christina Keats.

Elevator Speech: Provide 2 sentences to 'SELL' your book(s).

End of the World (The Dark Days, Episode #1) - I wanted to know what caused the formation of the 13 districts and what led to the first Game. This is that story.

Quest of the Hybrid (Aurora Conspiracy Trilogy: Book 1) The 10-year old mystery behind a mother’s disappearance will drive Jesse Proctor to all ends of the universe. The truth will deliver her into a world unknown where she’ll discover the most important secret of her life.

The first 3 words I would use to describe myself are: Passionate, Driven, Creative

One thing that is odd and interesting about me: I purposefully try to grow vegetables that aren't your typical everyday varieties. White Greta eggplants and purple Cherokee tomatoes for instance.

I am currently working on this project: I am about to finish Dark Beginnings - The Dark Days series, Episode #4 and hope to release it this month!

My favorite thing about Authors' Cave...has to be the support family. When I started the Book Review Depot, I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined what an amazing group of people would come together! I just needed a review! :) Now, I am blessed to have made friends all over the world who are willing to share their experiences - good and bad! We laugh and cry together!

  1. Great post, and thank you so much for initiating the blog train! White eggplants sound really interesting, how do you cook them?

    1. Hi Mary! I slice the up like thin coins and brush them with olive oil, add a little garlic and sea salt and throw them on the grill for 10-12 minutes!
